About

I'm currently a PhD student in the Mathematical and Theoretical Particle Physics group at Durham University. Before Durham, I was an MPhys student in Theoretical Physics at Swansea University. In my free time, you'll either find me in a language class, playing guitar, in an art gallery, or drinking far too much coffee somewhere.

Research Overview

My research interests are concerned with various problems at the interface of Quantum Field Theory and Gravity; one example being in the interplay between holography and the cosmological bootstrap. In addition to this, I also have interests in the conformal bootstrap programme.

My Master's work was concerned with islands and the black hole information loss paradox, for which I was awarded the PM Davidson prize for master's level research in Theoretical Physics.

Teaching

This year I am a tutor for two courses at Durham; Single Mathematics A and Mathematical Physics II. The former covers complex numbers, elementary calculus and linear algebra. I will be teaching the Quantum Mechanics part of the latter module.
